Vacancy sits at 11.4%, a slight increase from last quarter driven primarily by Kaplan vacating roughly 97,000 sq. ft. in Cypress Creek.

 

Despite the uptick in Vacancy, tenants took occupancy of over 37,100 sq. ft. of space through the first two quarters of 2020.

 

University Professional Center, a 63,600 sq. ft. building in Plantation delivered early in the quarter and welcomed its first tenant, Chetu, which owns the building. They are occupying the top floor for 21,200 sq. ft.

 

The only major sale expected this quarter was the closing of Cypress Financial Center to Slate Office REIT. Announced in March, the sale has since fallen through and the asset will remain with Steelbridge Capital.
