Key points:

-Take-up for office space in the UK Markets during Q3 totalled 796,500 sq ft, an increase of 149% compared to Q2 which was anticipated to be the worst affected by Covid-19. However, take-up remained significantly below the Q3 average of 1.3m sq ft.

-The largest deal of the quarter was transacted at Buildings 4 and 5 at The Haymarket development by investment management firm Baillie Gifford totaling 280,000 sq ft. This is the largest pre-let on record for Edinburgh.

-Over the last 12 months, the creative industries sector has accounted for the largest proportion of take-up at 26%, lead by BT in Bristol and Birmingham.
